Time clock terminal

Kiosk-mode time clock. Your teams scan a badge or enter a personal code; each punch is recorded on the PC and then sent to Technova, even after a network outage.

  • An Technova account allowed to manage attendance terminals (the demo account for this test).
  • Optional: a badge reader in "keyboard mode". Without a reader, the personal code is enough.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • An Technova account allowed to manage terminals and validate attendance sheets (the demo account for this test).
Step-by-step test guide

Before you install

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • MSI installer (Technova Pharma: MSI or EXE). Java is bundled: there is nothing else to install.
  • Each app has its own data folder and its own upgrade code, so they can live side by side on the same PC.
  • In production, your Technova server must be reachable over HTTPS.

Windows SmartScreen will show a warning

Our installers are not digitally signed. When you run one, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". This message is expected for an unsigned file. Before you continue, compare the file's SHA-256 checksum with the one shown on this page.

  2. 2Check the file name, then click "Run anyway".

Check the downloaded file

In PowerShell, the command below prints the file's SHA-256 checksum. It must match the one on this page.

Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\<file>

Try it on the demo database

The guides use a demo database. Its data is fictitious and the database is reset regularly: do not enter any real data. The demo accounts are public credentials, never real passwords.
